isla® works gently and naturally, directly in the places where effective relief is urgently needed: mucous membrane irritation in the mouth, throat and pharynx areas. The active ingredients in isla® Sore Throat Lozenges coat the irritated mucous membranes like balm, and form a protective film. Those who use isla® Sore Throat Lozenges therefore moisten the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat and protect them from dry and contaminated air.

• suffer from (age-related) dry mouth and swallowing difficulties.
• take medicines that can potentially cause the mucous membranes in the throat and pharynx to dry out.

ISLA Indications:

It is recommended to use the product in case of irritation of the throat and larynx. Recommended for a large load of vocal cords, cough, rasps, the impact of dry air.

The special thing about Isla products

Isla-Cassis®, Isla-Mint® and Isla-Moos® contain a special extract made from Iceland moss, the hardy lichen from the raw climate of the far North. The dry residue of the extract consists of more than 80 % mucins. In concentrated lozenge form, the extract dissolves when the lozenges are sucked and coats the areas of the mouth and throat like a balm where it exerts its pleasant action.

Protecting and looking after the vocal cords

A feeble voice and hoarseness are an indication that the extremely sensitive vocal cords are under attack. When this is the case Isla-Cassis ®, Isla-Mint ® and Isla-Moos ® unfold their relieving and soothing effects. The lozenges can, however, also be used as a prophylactic in order to protect the sensitive vocal cords.

Excellently tolerated

Isla-Cassis ®, Isla-Mint ® and Isla-Moos ® are excellently tolerated and can be taken without hesitation together with other preparations. The lozenges are suitable for individuals with a sensitive stomach.
Isla-Cassis ® has a fruity, blackcurrant taste and Isla-Mint ® a fresh taste of mint. Both lozenges are sugar-free and are therefore kind to the teeth, making them especially suitable for children and teenagers.
1 Isla-Cassis ® lozenge also contains 10 mg of vitamin C. The daily vitamin C allowance as recommended by the German Food Society is 100 mg for individuals aged 13 and above (150 mg/day for smokers).
The following daily vitamin C allowances are recommended for children:
4 – 6 years of age: 70 mg; 7 – 9 years of age: 80 mg; 10 – 12 years of age: 90 mg.
Isla-Moos ® contains the normal household sugar sucrose and has a pleasant, mild taste.
All Isla preparations are free of gluten and preservatives and contain no components of animal origin.
