Description:
This medicine is used as a topical contraceptive. It significantly reduces the possibility of pregnancy without completely eliminate it, therefore its efficacy depends on strict observance of the rules of use.
The tablets can be used by any woman of childbearing age, especially suitable for women who temporarily or permanently contraindicated acceptance of birth control pills or intrauterine protective equipment spirals, diaphragms, etc.
Pharmatex vaginal tablets may also be used:
-after birth, breastfeeding or around the time of menopause
-incidentally, in case we are forgotten to take Pill – in this case the two methods of contraception must be combined to the end of the cycle
-as an additional tool in the use of local intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD), especially if taken regularly medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Do not use Pharmatex vaginal tablets if:
-You are allergic (hypersensitive) to benzalkonium chloride or any of the excipients.
-Do not apply in combination with other drugs for vaginal application:
-medicines for vaginal application (for the treatment of fungus, Trichomonas, herpes, antibacterial agents, antiseptics or topical estrogens) and soap, unless medically indicated.
-If you think any of these apply to you, or you have any doubts, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Take special care with Pharmatex vaginal tablets:
-do not use washing soap after intercourse, because even a minimal amount of soap neutralizes the effect of the agent that kills sperm.
-You can wash outside with clean water. Wait at least two hours before using vaginal lavage, but again with clean water.
-the tablets should be used regardless of the stage of your menstrual cycle.
-do not use this product if there is damage to the lining of the genitals or if it occurred after one application of the product.
-if given another vaginal treatment, wait for it to finish before taking this medicine.
-Using other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
The use of other drugs for the topical treatment can lead to inactivation of spermicide (they kill sperm) Local contraception.
It should not be used concomitantly with soap and other products for vaginal application, unless medically indicated.
Pregnancy and lactation
No evidence of adverse effects during use during pregnancy, and is breastfeeding, so the medicinal product may be administered.
